naomi matsuura

Naomi Matsuura is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto.

She is also the Department Lead for the Innovation, Translation & Attrition Group which aims to guide, support, and develop new research programs in medical imaging. 

Naomi received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 2003. In 2007, she was awarded the John C. Polanyi Prize in Physiology/Medicine and Physics by the Government of Ontario.

She currently leads a research program focused on designing new targeted agents for the imaging and treatment of cancer, under grants awarded by the Ontario Institute of Cancer Research, Cancer Care Ontario, the Ontario Research Fund-Research Excellence Program, and Prostate Cancer Canada.

eric bartlett

Eric Bartlett is an Assistant Professor of Radiology, based at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, Neuroradiology Section, Division of Head and Neck Imaging, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery.  

Eric received his medical qualifications (M.D.) and Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of Oklahoma.  He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and his fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Toronto.  

Eric’s clinical and academic interests are in the imaging of head and neck oncology, medical education and curriculum design. Eric is the co-founder of an educational website in head and neck imaging (www.headandneckrad.com).

Eric has been the Program Director for the University of Toronto Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program since October 2013.
